The 35-acre site to the south of Lakeside DFW has long been hidden from public view (save for Sunset Point). But on Thursday, June 8 (7-9 pm), the veil will be removed as Flower Mound residents are invited on a Lakeside Village site tour to learn of plans for the property (3058 Lakeside Parkway in Flower Mound).
Food trucks, drinks, and live music will be provided.
Town residents will be guided on a tour that will include ground-floor views from the southern point and future amphitheater plus “high-rise” views from the widow’s walk atop the old farm house.
A video presentation by planner Kevin Sloan will be available for those interested in preliminary plans for Lakeside Village. Realty Capital officials also will be stationed around the site to offer insights and answer questions.
As the southern and more scenic cousin to Lakeside DFW, Lakeside Village’s topography offers an intimate connection with the lake, both visually and physically.
Lake-view restaurants, residences, retail, parks, and public spaces are included in the plan to capitalize on views of Grapevine Lake.
Thursday evening’s events will conclude with music, drinks, and a sunset at Sunset Point.
