On June 8, approximately 200 Flower Mound residents accepted a public invitation to tour the property south of Lakeside DFW known as Lakeside Village.
Officials from Realty Capital, master developer of Lakeside DFW and Lakeside Village, were stationed at key points to spark input from attendees and answer questions.
Jimmy Archie, managing partner of Realty Capital, stood at the southern end of the site where the lake views stretch out to the south and west. This location is considered a prime spot for lake-view restaurants.
Rebecca Everitt, development associate with Realty Capital, talked with people near the site of a possible amphitheater, where audience members would sit among the trees facing the lake.
In the crow’s nest of the two-story house on the site, Richard Myers, Realty Capital managing partner, and Alex Brown, development associate, listened to thoughts and ideas on the project.
“It was wonderful so many people came out,” Myers said. “I think everyone enjoyed themselves, and we generated some valuable input.”

When will there be a marina with boat slips for lease , soon I hope.
lakeside says
Jon,
While we hope that the Corps of Engineers may allow us (at some point) to build a small dock for water taxis to the Gaylord and other destinations, a marina with boat slips will never be allowed. The three marinas on the lake have a lock on that business. In addition, our location does not feature the kind of cove needed to protect boats from westerly winds and waves.
Thanks for your interest.
