The New Texas String Band

TONIGHT’S SHOW CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER.

The New Texas String Band was formed as a collaboration of members of several successful Texas bands that shared a passion for acoustic bluegrass music built on the songwriting techniques of American popular music. 

Expect melodic, lyrical, and instrumental hooks in recognizable song structures and meaningful, relatable themes. These traits have been central to American popular music of all genres spanning minstrel shows, tin pan alley, ragtime, Broadway, jazz, country, and rock-n-roll.

There’s no reason they shouldn’t apply to Bluegrass as well.
