The August 25 Lakeside Music Series show has been canceled due to the excessive heat expected at showtime. The temperature at 8 pm for Friday’s performance by Suzy & Woodrow is forecast to hover around 100 degrees.
We apologize for any inconvenience and we appreciate your understanding and continued support of the Lakeside Music Series. The decisions to cancel the last four performances were dictated by concern for the safety of attendees, the performers, and our staff.
Cooler temperatures are expected in September. For next Friday’s performance by Jonan Rigsbee, the temperature at showtime is forecast to be between 90 and 94 degrees. See you there.
