Greystar has begun work on the 20-plus acres that will comprise the mixed-use and multi-family components in Lakeside DFW’s Phase I. Work began in April on the 23-acres single-family components north and west of Lakeside’s northern roundabout.
“We are preparing the site for the utility companies,” said David Elliott, project supervisor for Greystar.
The most startling sight is the southwest corner of Lakeside and International Parkway (FM 2499) which was cleared yesterday.
Prospective retailers and shoppers will now have a far easier time imagining the site as a retail location.

Looks like a lot of clear cutting of trees for the new retail .
With heavy equipment crossing Lakeside and Heritage will there be an effort to sweep these streets as they are becoming a collector for rock debris and dirt?
