Dallas-native Leslie Austin brings a fresh spin on soul with a blues/pop edge to Lakeside on Friday, May 2 at 7:30 pm.
The LA-based singer, songwriter, & recording artist got her start in church and faith conferences around the U.S., including a gospel choir that performed with Grammy-winning artist Kirk Franklin at his home church.
Austin has performed with top bands & musicians from both Dallas and LA covering all genres of music, opening for artists such as R. Kelly, Neil McCoy, Jerry Jeff Walker, & The Bellamy Brothers.
Austin just released her 5th original single, ‘Burned’, and has more new music on the way.
