Sebastian Valenzuela will take the stage in the Summer Music Series this Friday night, July 22, 7-9 pm at The Shops at Lakeside.
The Alabama native who was raised in New York performs a broad spectrum of popular music.
You can expect a lively mix from Billy Joel, Toto, and The Beatles to Jason Mraz, John Mayer, and Bruno Mars.
Be sure to bring a blanket or portable chairs.
You also won’t want to miss the 5K Dog Jog that will start from Urban Vybe (2500 Lakeside Pkwy). The event benefits local rescue shelters. (For more info, contact Candice_kolkka@yahoo.com.)
The Summer Music Series offers free music performances on the plaza at Lakeside plus food trucks to complement the dining options at Lakeside that include Carvao’s Prime Brazilian Steakhouse and Paradise Bistro & Coffee Co.
On July 29, Highland Village resident Tom Faulkner performs his unique blend of Texas rock, blues, Cajun, and Tejano music.
The Summer Music Series will continue through August.
Mark McHugh says
Sebastian was great last night. Great performance. Great rapport and interaction with the audience. My only complaint is the amplifier / PA / speakers were not loud enough.unless you were right in front of Sebastian’s speakers it was difficult to hear above the noise of 2499!
More noise to support the performers, I would suggest some form of professional PA system. Artists playing to an enclosed audience in a restaurant or bar are gong to struggle in an open arena.
Thanks
Mark
