I LOVE IT! This is the most EXCITING project in the DFW Metroplex. If you have not been out to Lakeside lately you must go out & see all the new construction, new shops, people strolling about. I was there last night at 7:30 PM & people were jogging, sitting on the fountain talking, walking, strolling, etc. The place is magical. It is not even complete & Lakeside already has achieved what every other mixed-use developer has tried to do – create a sense of place where you can work, live & play. Congrats to the developer, the shopkeepers & the people who live at Lakeside.
So its months and months late, the housing for the most part looks very suburban (against the original intent) and its very clear parking will be a huge issue. Good luck to the future home owners in retaining your purchase price.

Yeah very exciting! Now it’s flooded. 2499 is closed between Lakeside Parkway and 121 and Lake Grapevine hasn’t even crested yet.
