Slip Clay & Lil’ Bro will color the Lakeside Music Series blue on Friday, November 18, with some bluesy rock ‘n roll.
The popular Easy Sliders food truck also will be on site.
As in their appearance on August 5, a few guest musicians may stop by and join the fun. They are sure to get the crowd movin’ and groovin’.
You’ll hear everything from Ray Charles to Stevie Ray Vaughn.
Get ready to rock!
(Note: Jon Christopher Davis, who was originally scheduled for this date, is recovering from eye surgery.)
It is fitting that Señor Clay should fill in Friday night since it will mark the end of our weekly performances for the Lakeside Music Series until spring.
This final show offers everyone who has enjoyed the Lakeside Music Series the chance to show their appreciation to the man behind most of the music: Slip Clay (a.k.a., Michael Clay).
Clay played the central role in bringing such outstanding music to Lakeside week in and week out.
Keep a look out for occasional performances like the men’s and women’s a cappella groups from Flower Mound High School that will perform on Friday, December 16, 7-9 pm.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or portable chairs.
In case of rain, the performance will be moved inside to Paradise Bistro & Coffee Co.
