It’s Wednesday, June 1, so — like the first Wednesday of every month — that means Food Truck Night at Elan Lakeside (5:30-8 pm).
Everyone is welcome to enjoy the culinary stylings of Cousins Maine Lobster (no one can seem to get enough of Cousins) and Bob’s Addiction, a desert truck serving boba tea, fruit drinks, milk drinks, coffees, slushies, fresh fruit shaved snow cones, shaved snow desserts with fresh fruits and ice cream, and fresh macarons.
Be sure to check out Lakeside’s many wonderful retailers and restaurants (click here for a map).
Bob’s Addiction was started in Uptown by three Taiwanese young professionals who are introducing North Texans to the wonders of boba tea and shaved snow, a new desert craze in Taiwan that you’re sure to love.
The drinks emphasize the natural and fragrant flavors created from combining fresh teas, fruits and flowers together. The shaved snow has the consistency between ice cream and a snow cone — delicately shaved into layers of beautiful snow — like ribbons and covered in fresh fruits and creamy condensed milk.
It was voted Dallas A-List Best Food Truck 2014 and Dallas Observer Top 5 Food Trucks 2015. Check out our fan page to see what we’re about: www.facebook.com/Bobaddiction
