A singer-songwriter of traditional, timeless country music, Kensie Coppin will perform at Lakeside on Friday, August 18, 7:30-9:30 pm.
This native of South Central Texas has spent time in both classic Texas venues as well as that other cradle of country music, Nashville. During her six years in Tennessee, she wrote and composed with the likes of Wes Hightower, Bryan Wayne, Dale Dodson, Greg Bates, Curly Putnam, Will Bowen, Dani Flowers, Terri Jo Box and many others.
In 2015, she co-produced her record at Bismeaux Studios in Austin, Texas with the talented Sam Seifert, producing a traditional country music album influenced by artists like George Strait, Tammy Wynette, Shania Twain and Miranda Lambert.
Her roots run deep in country music and strives to make a difference in bringing back a sound of steel guitar, fiddle and deep grand piano.
