Want to provide input
on the amphitheater?
Please complete the following form if you would like to volunteer for our focus group on the amphitheater on Wednesday, May 1 (times below).

Planning on the Lakeside Amphitheater will begin in earnest on Wednesday, May 1, when two focus groups will be assembled to provide input on the types of entertainment residents hope to see at the scenic venue planned for Lakeside Village.
“Before working on a design for the amphitheater,” said Jimmy Archie of Realty Capital, master developer of Lakeside DFW, “we want to know what types of entertainment it will be required to accommodate.”
Archie and the Realty Capital team interviewed nearly a dozen prospects for the job of programming events and festivities for the venue before presenting Marsha Milam of Marsha Milam Music (MMM) to the town council in March.
They heartily approved of Milam’s selection.
“The focus groups will help me understand the spectrum of entertainment possibilities that should be considered for the amphitheater,” Milam explained.
Milam will select two groups of 7-10 residents from the residents who sign up to participate (see box at right).
“Our 30-second survey asks a little about the individual’s tastes in entertainment,” she said. “We hope to select people with a variety of interest to ensure we cover our bases.”
Starting 19 years ago with the “Unplugged At the Grove” music series, MMM has evolved a model that benefits host venues, radio stations, entertainers and music fans alike.
“The Lakeside Amphitheater could be used for so many types of activities,” she added, “we are eager to explore the possibilities.”
