The new realigned Surrey Lane will re-open when the roads for Lakeside’s single-family homes are paved and ready for traffic.

According to the estimated construction schedule (see box at left), road paving will occur around August 15.

Heritage Lane will remain open during the construction process and the old road will be closed only when the new road system is complete.

Comments

  1. Did the Lakeside Group compensate the Woodlake Estates Phase 2 HOA for the destruction of the expensive white pvc fencing that ran along both sides of the road near the park? It was removed when the initial grading began for the new roads.
Are there any plans to replace it?

    • The HOA installed a white PVC fence in the public right-of-way. Lakeside DFW redesigned the public property for the development of a 2.80AC extension of Lakewood Park. The plan for the public space included removal of the fence, and this plan was approved by the Town. The contractor removed the fence according to Town requirements and made available it for pick up by the HOA. Please contact BrianLeek@realtycapital.com for more information.

  2. Just a thought………..
With the install of a new Cannongate/Mcpherson Lane sign post and trees along the walkway,I believe one tree should be moved away from the new sign.I see it as a future obstruction of the sign post.
I use “old” Mcpherson Lane daily to exit the neighborhood and noticed this!
